How to use the new Bluestones One App

Scheduler app

Bluestones Scheduler is the app designed to introduce convenience and flexibility into your work day.

With its intuitive interface, you can view and manage your holidays, organise your expenses, view your shifts and much more with ease, making it simpler than ever to keep on top of your work.

Simply download the app today and start taking control of your working life. Download it now on either Google Play or the App Store by clicking the buttons below.

  • Download the Bluestones Scheduler app
  • Check your email inbox for an email from Bluestones Scheduler & click the link within that email 
  • Set a memorable password
  • Click ‘add to scheduler’
  • Log in with your new password 
  • Click ‘allow access’


Filter shifts/book shifts

  • Click the Schedule button (clock image bottom left) TWICE 
  • Click the funnel button (top left of screen)
  • Select the filter you wish to view: 
    • Confirmed shifts – booked work 
    • Job offers – work available to book 
    • Pending job offers – work you have applied for 
    • Availability – when do you want work/holidays etc 
  • To apply for work available, select Job offers 
  • Click the apply button  
  • An alert will be sent to the resource team and they will get in touch. 
  • Click the clock button (bottom left of screen)
  • Click the + button (top right corner of screen) 
  • Select Type – choose the best option form the list 
  • Click the calendar page button under start time-end time on the left 
  • Select the start date 
  • Input the start time you are available from OR click done and select the All day option (switch should turn from grey to blue) 
  • Click Done (top right of box) 
  • If you are inputting specific times – select the end date by clicking the calendar page button on the right 
  • Select the end date and time 
  • Click Done (top right of box) 
  • If you wish for your holiday to be paid, type the amount of hours you wish to use, and tick the box for holiday to be paid 
  • Click Submit (bottom right) 

Submitting availability/holiday requests

Submit passenger info/expenses

  • Click the Schedule button (clock image bottom right) 
  • Select the shift you are submitting information for 
  • To enter number of passengers, click the pencil icon (top right of screen) 
  • Select ‘number of passengers’ then click the arrow 
  • Select the number of passengers from the list 
  • Click Save
  • To add an expense – click request expense 
  • Select the correct type of expense from the list i.e. mileage 
  • Click ‘date of expense, select the correct date, click set 
  • For mileage expenses, select the vehicle type 
  • Enter the number of miles you are claiming for 
  • Enter the amount of the expense i.e £10.75 
  • Add any comments you want 
  • Click Save 
  • Next, click ‘Attach photo’ 
  • Select the correct photo of your expense evidence in your camera gallery 
  • Edit the file name if required 
  • Click Ok 
  • Click the 3 dashes on the bottom right corner of the screen & select ‘compliance’
  • You’ll see any outstanding or due-to-expire compliance
  • To upload a document, select the relevant document and then ‘add evidence’
  • Follow the prompts on the screen and to finalise your submission, don’t forget to tap ‘submit’ (the yellow lightning bolt button). 
  • The compliance team will then receive your documents and will either approve them or let you know if they require anything further from you

View and submit compliance docs

View holiday entitlement

  • Click the 3 dashes on the bottom right of the home screen & select ‘profile’
  • Scroll to the bottom of that page to view your holiday entitlement
  • Request your holiday pay, please submit your request through the app (see video submitting availability for how)
  • Open the Scheduler when on site 
  • Click the Start now button 
  • On leaving the site, open the Scheduler again 
  • Click Finish now 

Check in and check out of your shift

View your timesheets and expenses

  • Click on the Finance tab (middle button, centre of screen at bottom with a bank note icon)
  • Scroll up to see timesheets and expenses for previous weeks
  • Click on the timesheet or expense to view more information
  • Expenses will show the amount you have claimed.
  • Timesheets will show the number of hours that have been processed and the hourly rate.
  • Open the app
  • Double click the Schedule button (clock icon on the bottom left)
