Summary

Bluestones One were delighted to be part of the opening and fit out of the New Local Store in New Malden High Street, supplying a skilled team to complete ticket preparation, systems and dressing of all fixtures to planograms and with the replenishment of the store within a 6 day window. Working in partnership with the Sainsburys project and store team to ensure all aspects were delivered on the project.

Challenges

As with the opening of any new stores there are some challenges with the project. Day one on site the teams start was delayed due to a late sign off, certain equipment issues and WIFI not connecting. Issues were addressed within the timescale so team could proceed. Having a PM and a well skilled team from Bluestones helped complete this store in readiness for day 6 opening.

Results

Store completed and opened on time, all merchandising and systems tasks completed to a high standard, collaborative working with store colleagues, shop fitters and the project management team to ensure smooth handover to the Store Manager for the opening day.

Bluestones One received glowing reports from all stakeholders for the delivery of the project!
