Case Study: Co-op

Summary

Due to the issues created by the Coronavirus outbreak, Central England Co-op was looking for a partner that could react quickly and operate flexibly to support their stores with replenishment teams.

Bluestones One were more than happy to help, putting the appropriate social distancing measures in place, reacting to the ever-changing situation and supplying teams across multiple locations throughout the UK.

Challenges

Staffing and demand levels were ever-changing for the Co-op, so both parties had to work together to ensure fluidity of the plan and move resources between stores on a daily basis.

Arranging accommodation and travel was particularly difficult during this period, so the Bluestones team had to work incredibly hard to ensure the correct and suitable requirements were in place.

Results

Bluestones were pleased to be in a position to support the Co-op, so the retailer was able to operate during a difficult period. The Co-op commented on how much of a pleasure Bluestones are to deal with.
