Bluestones One Improvement Performance combines different methodologies to learning, such as training workshops, conferences and events, best practice techniques and ideas sharing, all focused on helping an individual to improve and have effective professional development.

As Six Sigma and Lean specialists, we also support businesses and provide training to make their processes and procedures efficient and effective, ultimately saving money. The goal is for our clients to achieve delivery of near-perfect products or services, through reducing defects and variation so that processes are more consistent and predictable.

We are also CPD accredited, allowing us to pass our knowledge onto our partners and clients.

How we uniquely deliver it

We access the quality of core tools which are used during the development phases of new product introduction (NPI) and during certain events such as experienced failure or engineering changes. We then provide employers with the necessary training or services to combat any problems.

This quality core tools methodology harmonises and links the inputs and outputs of the core tools to one another. Unlike many who see the tools as independent, we understand that linked tools increase their value to one another and reduce overall workload.

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a structured approach which identifies potential failure modes and resulting effects, coupling them with potential causes of failure. A technical risk level is assigned to each combination.

What is the role of a Six Sigma Green Belt?

Six Sigma Green Belts are best suited to individuals who spend time improving processes within their teams. They are trained to analyse problems related to quality and efficiency, and then tasked with solving them using lean or other methods.

What is the role of a Six Sigma Black Belt?

Black Belt Six Sigma status indicates that you are a Six Sigma project leader – that you are comfortable using a variety of statistical tools to measure and analyse processes, identify problems and plan improvements. By running simulations or piloting these improvements, you can then confidently implement process control systems to improve and maintain consistent outcomes. Holding a Six Sigma Black Belt also indicates that you have successfully implemented similar projects before and that you can manage a Six Sigma project team effectively.
