Case Study

Summary

Pets & Friends reached out to Bluestones One requesting merchandising support to deliver a refit programme across their store estate.

They required updates to multiple store layouts, moving and rebuilding gondolas, and merchandising both new and existing product ranges.

We deployed teams of 3 with dedicated Team Leaders to deliver this project over a five night period per store.

Challenges

Having never worked on a Pets & Friends store before our teams had to quickly learn and recognise the products, following plans that had their own challenges in some areas. They were challenged with replacing discontinued products with new lines, whilst moving departments to new locations across the store.

Results

Once our teams had completed their first few nights, they increased their efficiency and streamlined their processes whilst getting a feel for the store.

The teams worked to a high standard to ensure that every item was to plan. By the fifth night, they were left with snagging and implementing POS, ready to hand over the store over with a fresh new look in time for store opening.

After the initial successful store openings, Bluestones One are completing the refits of 11 stores over a 10 week period.
