Case Study: New Store Gondola Installation

Summary

Bluestones One Retail is proud to have been selected to support Nabco Ltd with the installation of their gondola equipment for a new grocery store in Reepham.

Challenges

The Bluestones One team were asked to submit their Rams, which would need be agreed by the PC on-site, as well as organise the team two days before commencement. Having liaised directly with the PC, we got everything agreed and in place within 24 hours.

Result

We delivered this Installation on time following the client’s guidelines and on-site changes. The store was handed over to the Merchandising team after day 3 of 3. The feedback from Nabco and the end client was very positive.

Meet Mark Goulding: Senior Team Leader

Tell us about your role at Bluestones OneMy role as a Senior Team Leader involves managing teams of merchandisers who are completing anything from small range reviews to full store refits for various clients. How would you normally start your day at work?My day typically begins with reviewing the previous shift’s work, then allocating various projects to my team members. I would also be involved with store meetings and updating our clients on the progress of the review and any foreseeable issues. What does a typical day at work look like for you?A typical day would involve site meetings and making sure my teams have all the necessary information to complete their tasks. I also train new merchandisers the correct way of working as each client will have specific requests. Throughout the day I will spend time with each of my team members to find out their strengths and weaknesses so I can implement a plan of attack for the day. What do you find challenging?We come up against challenges each day and overcoming them is what I love to do.
