Summary

Bluestones One have recently supported with replenishment of the store making sure the store has the best availability of stock for their customers. The team were also responsible for assisting the customers with any requests they might have.

Challenges

The main challenge whilst working in a trading store is to ensure the team work at a steady pace to make sure the stock is replenished correctly without causing any disruption to the shopping experience whilst maintaining a polite and professional approach. Additionally the team worked conscientiously to maintain a safe working and shopping environment for all staff and customers

Results

All activity was delivered as requested and on time, ensuring improved stock availability and supporting the store team to drive increased sales.

Valspar: Paint Unit Installation

Summary Bluestones One Installation team is proud to have supported Valspar Paint with their new paint unit rollout across 60 UK stores. Challenges Each store could only be completed in a single overnight installation, so the logistical planning of the project was essential. Prior visits to the stores also had to be scheduled in to ensure the sites were ready and the areas were clear before the teams arrived to complete the installation. The Bluestones One Installation team also had to compete with schedule changes, having to adapt quickly to ensure the project stayed on time and to budget. Results The whole project took a total of 3 weeks, with 20 stores completed a week using 4 teams across the country. By understanding and adhering to bespoke risk assessment and method statements, the Installation team delivered the project within budget with a 100% success rate on the completed install at each site.

Celebrating BIG Awards 2021

Bluestones One is part of Bluestones Investment Group (BIG), and in November, Bluestones Group celebrated another successful year at the annual BIG Awards evening at Chester Racecourse. This year, brands from across the Group, as well as the central support services, came together for an evening of food, drink, live music, casino fun, and to recognise achievements. Over 20 winners were recognised for their achievements during 2021, which included top-performing consultants and brands, and the people who embody the Group values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration and Enjoyment. This year, Bluestones One were delighted to win the Overall Profitability Award. This is a fantastic achievement for the team as it highlights their hard work and determination over the past year. So a huge congratulations and well done goes to the Bluestones One team! Every year, all award winners are treated to an award winners’ trip and this year it was revealed that winners will be jetting off to Dubai in 2022. Bluestones One team members Managing Director, Gary White; Operations Director, Gary Lowe; Director, Ashley Jewitt; and Operations Manager, Richard Jones also received awards last year for Outstanding Achievement. Prior to this, Bluestones One also won Best New Business in 2019.
