At Bluestones One, we continue to recognise the dedication, growth and commitment shown by our team members. This month, we are delighted to announce that Inderjit Singh has been selected as our Employee of the Month.

Over the past few weeks, Inderjit has consistently demonstrated a fantastic attitude, reliability and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. His commitment and dependable approach have made a real difference, earning the trust and appreciation of those he works alongside.

Case study: Sainsburys RRS Project

Summary

Sainsbury’s has once again stressed that it will “put food back at the heart” of its business. Bluestones have recently supported Sainsburys Isle of Wight store for a full 17-week project. The project included reducing the general merchandise and clothing range in order to install more food choices within the store, including new freezer and fridge installations.

Case study: George Clothing & Home Story – Lincoln

George Clothing & Home Store

Bluestones One was proud to be selected by Asda George to support them with the delivery of the latest stand-alone George store in Lincoln. The project was to transform an existing Asda Living store into their 2^nd new format George store. Working alongside other suppliers Bluestones One provided teams that worked both day and night to merchandise, work deliveries and execute the new planograms across all the general merchandise ranges. With just a 2-week window the teams worked over 20 deliveries, merchandised all stock, set up all the promotions and cleaned all shelving and stock ready for the grand opening.

Challenges

Asda George had approached this project differently to the last one by removing all the stock and storing it whilst the equipment and building works were completed and then returning the stock in phases ready to merchandise. This project required excellent communication between our teams and Asda to ensure we remained on schedule and that the deliveries came in for the correct zones, working areas at the right time. Our dedicated teams worked closely with all stakeholders, ensuring all parties completed their tasks on time and in line with all health and safety requirements.

Results

The project was successfully completed on time and within budget, with the store welcoming hundreds of customers on opening day. Both George Head office and instore teams praised the great work and the professionalism demonstrated by the Bluestones teams throughout. This project highlights Bluestones’ ability to deliver excellent store improvement programmes efficiently and at pace, supporting customers across all retail sectors.
