How to take your ID photo

Requirements: JPG/PNG format, max 5MB
Plain white/light grey background
Good lighting, no shadows
Head and shoulders visible (passport-style)
Look directly at the camera, neutral expression
No hats (unless religious), glasses OK

Quick steps

Find a well-lit area with a plain background
Hold phone at eye level, arm's length away
Look at camera lens, not screen
Take multiple shots, choose the clearest
