Summary
AS Watson, the owners of Savers and Superdrug Health and Beauty Stores, have had a busy 2022 with their new store and refit programme.
Bluestones One were extremely happy to be asked to support them by supplying experienced teams into each store to manage the store teams and contractors. The teams ensured that the execution and delivery runs as smoothly as possible, which all resulted in a successful opening.
Challenges
The daily challenge was to ensure that all contractors, store support and store staff were all aligned. Everyone worked to a tight schedule and had daily tasks of shifting, rebuilding, and replacing store fixture and fittings, including the de-merchandising and re-merchandising of stock. This was achieved by everyone working as a team, good communication and having the right skill set.
Our Merchandising Managers go through an extensive training programme working in store alongside AS Watson Project Managers and Store Support to gain the skills and experience that is needed to be able to run their own projects.
Results
Fabulous refits were delivered on time, complete with a new look and feel. We were proud to leave with one very happy customer and the team having a great satisfaction that they had made this happen before moving onto their next project.
